Suppressing Emotions

It takes a lot of energy to suppress painful emotions. Feelings buried alive never die.

Studies have shown that suppressing emotions causes health issues.

In order to heal from emotional trauma, it’s necessary to acknowledge the emotions that have been suppressed and denied.

When painful emotions are acknowledged and validated, they can be released. (There are many tools to help in the process.)

The nervous system can then regulate and your body can heal.
