It’s important in our healing journey to set an intention to live in the present – to be fully awake and alive.

If we can learn to savor everyday moments, like drinking a cup of coffee, enjoying a meal, listening to music, noticing the flowers, etc., it will help us heal from trauma in the past.

Practicing mindfulness reduces stress, boosts our immune system, lowers blood pressure, and has many other benefits.
