God gently nurtures us into greatness. Your gentleness has made me great. (Psalms 18:35) God even corrects our mistakes with lovingkindness. His lovingkindness leads us to repentance. (See Romans 2:4) Similarly, we should be gentle and practice lovingkindness with ourselves and with other people.
