Strengthening our Immune System

Stress and unhealthy eating habits can influence how we think and how we feel.

There is evidence that our thoughts and feelings affect our immune system. Our immune system protects our body against viruses.

If we are experiencing fear, anger, or other emotions that activate our stress response, then hormones are released that have an effect on our immune system, and that makes us more susceptible to illness.

Every thought we have produces a chemical which signals the body to feel exactly the way we are thinking.

How we perceive an event plays a very significant role in whether the stress response is triggered or not. Our perceptions are often shaped by past experiences and the beliefs we formed at the time.

We can strengthen our immune system by transforming negative beliefs into positive ones!
